BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Nolan Lowe (Toronto, Ont.) of ice hockey and sophomore Gabby Amoddio (Wethersfield, Conn.) of women's basketball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of November 28-December 4.
Lowe and the Leopards competed hard against #11 Endicott last weekend despite coming out with two losses. In the Leopards' 4-2 loss to the Gulls on December 2, Lowe tallied a goal and an assist, good for the first multi-point effort of his career. The rookie has two goals and an assist in nine appearances this season.
Amoddio played a key role for the Black & Gold in each of their two contests of the week, leading the team with 15 points against Curry on November 30 and scoring another 13 against Salve Regina on December 3. The sophomore also grabbed eight rebounds and had five steals in the two contests combined.
