BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Conor Rubenskas (Bridgewater, Mass.) of men's basketball and freshman Ian Worthley (Saugus, Mass.) of ice hockey have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of February 6-12.
After picking up five points in a loss against Nichols on February 7, Rubenskas found nothing but the basket against Roger Williams four days later. In a 95-65 rout over the Hawks, Rubenskas drained a career-high 19 points while going a perfect 8-8 from the floor and 3-3 from beyond the arc.
Worthley scored two goals, one on the powerplay, on four shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to Salve Regina on February 11. The rookie boosted his career statistics to four goals and nine points in 23 games.
