BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Drew Webster (North Andover, Mass.) of men's track and field and freshman Samantha Jones (Beverly, Mass.) of women's basketball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of February 12-18.
Webster posted one of the Leopards' two top finishes at the Wheaton Pre-Postseason Invitational, placing first in the long jump with a 6.21-meter mark. The rookie's day also featured a 12th-place finish in the 200-meter.
Jones was everywhere for Wentworth on the court, recording a career-high five steals against Roger Williams before leading the Black & Gold with nine points over 40 minutes of action versus Western New England. The freshman also notched three assists in each of the two contests.
