O'Neill Picks up All-CCC Honors

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior shortstop Kyle O'Neill (Haverhill, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology baseball team was named Third Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference as the league announced its all-conference teams and major award winners on Tuesday afternoon.

Voting for the All-CCC Teams and major awards was conducted by the nine CCC baseball head coaches following the conclusion of the regular season.

O'Neill started all 31 games in which the Leopards played, batting .339 (37-for-109) with eight doubles, three triples, one home run, 18 runs scored, and 17 runs batted in. O'Neill had 11 multiple-hit games, which included three, three-hit contests. During the week of April 18-24, he went 9-for-12 from the plate with five of those hits going for extra bases. He led the team in hits, doubles, and triples, and was second in batting average.

A three-year starter, O'Neill started 59 of the 63 games in which he played in, batting .330 (68-for-206) with 10 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 32 runs scored, and 29 RBI.
