BOSTON, Mass. – The Leopards of the Week awards for the week of Monday, Feb. 14 – Sunday, Feb. 20 go to junior Jack Schaake (Hampton, N.H.) of men's basketball and freshman Maddy Foster (Lewiston, Maine) of women's basketball.
Schaake played in all three games for the Leopards last week, averaging 10.3 points per game, while collecting 8.3 rebounds per game and 1.3 assists per contest as the Leopards went 1-2 on the week and advanced to the CCC men's basketball tournament.
Foster competed in three games as well, with the freshman averaging 14.3 points per game and 7.7 rebounds. Her 18 point, 11 rebound performance Wednesday, Feb. 16 helped Wentworth come back from a 16-point second half deficit to defeat Curry College, as the Leopards earned a spot in the CCC women's basketball tournament.
