BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Ben Wright (Boxborough, Mass.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team capped off his career by being named Second Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference. The announcement came as the league released its major award winners and all-conference teams on Thursday morning.

Playing in seven events (nine rounds) this season, Wright led the Leopards with a stroke average of 78.11, which was eight strokes relative to par and is the fourth-lowest stroke average in a single season in program history. He finished among the top five golfers in five events, including placing first twice. He was four strokes over par in the second round of the Rhode Island College Spring Invitational and five over par at both the Gordon College Shootout and in the first round of the NEIGA Championship.

In his two seasons with the Black & Gold, Wright has competed in 17 rounds and finishes his career with a stroke average of 79.71, which ranks him second on the program's all-time list.
