BIDDEFORD, Maine – Wentworth Institute of Technology senior men's lacrosse goalkeeper Jack Munroe (Mansfield, Mass.) received the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week award for the week of March 7 – March 13 Monday afternoon. Sophomore faceoff specialist Connor Charron (Tewksbury, Mass.)

Munroe led Wentworth to a 1-1 record on the week, collecting 27 saves total while stopping 50 percent of shots on goal. The senior also collected eight ground balls, and matched his career-high with 20 saves against Misericordia University Friday afternoon. In two games, Charron won 67.2 percent of faceoffs, including a 23-for-31 performance March 9 against St. Joseph's College (Me.). He also collected 25 ground balls in two games and had one assist.

The Leopards' next game is Wednesday, March 16, when they host SUNY Oneonta at 7:00 p.m.
