Rowing Kicks off Spring Season

LOWELL, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology rowing team kicked off its spring campaign racing at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in a regatta held on the Merrimack River.

The Leopards entered a boat into the Men's Varsity Four face, which had two heats of three boats each and the top four times advanced to the finals. In the heat, Wentworth had a time of 7:00.1, narrowly edging Colby for first (7:00.5) with both teams' boats recording fast enough times to make the finals. In the finals, the Black & Gold had a second-place time of 7:14.3, finishing behind Coast Guard.
