SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Juan Rodriguez (Quito, Ecaudor) of the Wentworth men's tennis team has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week for the week ending April 17.

Rodriguez was impressive in helping the Leopards to a 3-0 week, going 3-0 at number one singles and 3-0 at number one doubles.  He defeated his opponents by a combined 36-8 at singles play and teamed with junior Nate Gove (Scarborough, Maine) to defeat three doubles tandems, 24-8.

In 11 dual matches this season Rodriguez is 11-0 at number one singles and has not dropped a set, including three matches played at the Eastern Nazarene Fall Invitational.  At number one doubles he is 6-5.
