BOSTON, Mass. – Two members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team – sophomore Daniel Gallegos (Monterrey, Mexico) and senior Kevin Salomon (West Newton, Mass.) have been named to the 2022 Commonwealth Coast Conference Men's Tennis Team as second team selections in singles play. The league announced its all-conference teams and major award winners Friday morning.

Voting for the All-CCC Teams and major awards was conducted by the nine CCC men's tennis head coaches following the conclusion of the regular season.

Gallegos, who earned Second Team All-CCC honors as a freshman, has posted a 9-4 record, which includes going 8-2 at No. 2. In conference play, he was 5-3, with four of his five victories being straight-set wins.

After being named to the third team last season, Salomon earns second team honors this season by posting a 6-4 record, including going 5-4 at No. 1. For his career, he has a 14-8 record, which includes going 13-5 over the last two seasons.

Wentworth has a 6-8 record and finished in fourth place in the CCC. The Leopards will host fifth-place Gordon in a CCC First Round Match on Saturday (April 30) at 2:00 p.m.
