BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology track & field team was recently honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), earning All-Academic Team honors.
More than 150 teams in Division III were honored as the Leopards had a cumulative grade point average of 3.17 over the fall and winter semesters. Teams are recognized annually for having a grade point average of a 3.10 or higher.
In addition to Wentworth's team award, junior thrower Kyle Moser (Southington, Conn.) earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors after meeting the minimum criteria of a 3.30 cumulative GPA and being listed among the top 50 student-athletes on their respective event's performance list. Moser was 47th nationally in the shot put.
