BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology outdoor track & field team kicked off its 2023 campaign at the Bridgewater State Invitational on Saturday. The Leopards broke eight program records while also establishing marks in three events the team had not previously competed in.
Wentworth got three first-place finishes on the day, with two of them resulting in new program record. In the triple jump, freshman Fabrice Fouron (Easton, Mass.) had a top jump of 13.50M, while in the pole vault, junior Eli Sleasman (Albany, N.Y.) vaulted 4.25M. The 4X100M relay team of senior Jordin Prampin (Worcester, Mass.), sophomore Ryan Abbotoni (Windham, Maine), senior Matt Murphy (Foxborough, Mass.), and freshman Kevin DeCollibus (Wareham, Mass.) also picked up first place with a time of 45.04.
