Sleasman, Fouron Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

BOSTON, Mass. – Two members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's indoor track & field team have been honored by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as all-region selections. Senior Eli Sleasman (Albany, N.Y.) and sophomore Fabrice Fouron (North Easton, Mass.) each earned this distinction for the second season in a row.

USTFCCCA All-Region Honors recognize the top five individuals in each event from each region, in addition to each member of the region's three relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.

Sleasman picked up a pair of first-place finishes in the pole vault, vaulting 4.65M at the Greater Boston Track Club Invitational and 4.60M at the USATF New England Indoor Championship. His season-best mark of 4.65M tied him for 40th among Division III pole vaulters.

Fouron bested his program record in the triple jump at the Reggie Poyau Memorial meet, jumping 13.87M to finish first. He also placed sixth at the New England Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship with a top jump of 13.80M.
