BOSTON, Mass. – For the second season in a row, Gabby Amoddio (Wethersfield, Conn.) has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:

• Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
• Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
• Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.

Amoddio earns her second straight Academic All-District nod after starting all 24 games she played. The junior Applied Mathematics major averaged 9.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
