BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) scored the game's lone goal in the 11th minute while junior Jacqueline Ruggiero (Hyde Park, Mass.) made three saves as the Endicott women's soccer team edged Wentworth, 1-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference play Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Endicott had an early advantage, attempting four shots in a span of 4:41. Wentworth's first attempt came from freshman, Jenny Montville (Plainville, Mass.), who put a shot attempt on net in the 10th minute.
- At the 10:02 mark, graduate student Jaymie Caponigro (Swampscott, Mass.) took a shot which was saved by Leopard freshman Juliana Heaton (Swansea, Mass.). The rebound came out in front where, in a scrum, Rischitelli tapped it home.
- The Gulls had a 12-2 shot advantage throughout the first 45 minutes.
- Wentworth came out with three shots in a four and a half minute span, including putting a shot on net in the 47th minute, however, the bid was saved by Ruggiero.
- Endicott had a pair of corner kicks in the 81st and 83rd minutes and one shot off the second one, however, it went wide of the mark. One last chance to the Black & Gold to even the score was thwarted when Ruggiero made a save in the 88th minute.
THE SERIES:
- Today marked the 30th all-time meeting between the two teams with Endicott holding 23-6-1 advantage. The Gulls have a 23-6-1 series advantage.
