Bradley Named Third Team All-CCC

BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore Lauren Bradley (Lumberton, N.J.) of the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's soccer team has been honored by the Commonwealth Coast Conference as a Third Team All-CCC selection at the position of defender. The announcement was made after the CCC released its 2021 all-conference honorees and major award winners on Friday morning.

Two student-athletes were honored this season as CCC Offensive Players of the Year as both Bianca Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) from Roger Williams and Allison Bruehwiler (Old Saybrook, Conn.) from Western New England were selected. Meanwhile, three members of the Endicott squad were named major award winners. Hannah Lederman (Natick, Mass.) was voted the defensive player of the year, Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) was selected as Rookie of the Year, and Megan Smith (Glastonbury, Conn.) was named the CCC Scholar-Athlete. Their coach Jodi Kenyon was selected by her peers as this year's CCC Coach of the Year. Nichols was the team sportsmanship award winner.

Voting for the All-CCC Teams and major awards was conducted by the 10 CCC head women's soccer coaches following the conclusion of the regular season.

Starting 15 of 16 games this season Bradley was a standout on the back line for the Leopards. Stepping up for her teammates and converting to a center back Bradley did not miss a beat. She was a clutch player coming up with big tackles and heading away dangerous balls time and time again. Her ability to start plays from the back and serve dangerous free kicks were a huge asset to the team. A true leader on the field she is able to organize and bring high energy and positivity to the team.
