WALTHAM, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's indoor track and field competed at their second-ever meet Saturday, participating at the Reggie Poyau Invitational at Brandeis University. The Black & Gold continued their historic season with two program records being broken.

Freshman Lily Carlson (New Braintree, Mass.) broke the Leopards' record in the high jump with her 1.51 meter mark, with the previous high being set last season by sophomore Laci Santos (Medway, Mass.). Carlson's leap led her to a fifth-place finish.

Santos cruised past her own previously-set record in the shot put Saturday, besting her previous far throw with a 9.92 meter launch this time out. Santos' mark led to a seventh-place finish.
