BRUNSWICK, Maine – Sophomore Laci Santos (Medway, Mass.) placed second in the pentathlon as part of three top five finishes as the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's indoor track team competed at the Lynn Ruddy Invitational on the campus of Bowdoin College.
As part of Santos' second-place finish, she was first in the 60M hurdles with a program-record time of 9.60 seconds and first in the shot out (9.24M). Junior Erin MacLean was second in the 600M (1:52.67), while the 4X400M relay squad of MacLean, freshman Sydney Mercadante (Auburn, Mass.), Anja Rand (Montpelier, Vt.), and Santos were fourth (4:52.81).
