Vaughn Named CCC Rookie of the Week

BEVERLY, Mass. – With an unblemished record last week, the Wentworth Institute of Technology women's volleyball team again earned recognition by the Commonwealth Coast Conference, this time with freshman Olivia Vaughn (Bolingbrook, Ill.) earning Rookie of the Week honors. The award is for games played October 2-8.

Vaughn was the catalyst behind Wentworth's pair of sweeps against UNE and Salve Regina, dishing out a total of 58 assists across six sets of action. Her 31 assists against the Seahawks tied her for the second-most all-time in any three-set match. The rookie also added on with a combined three service aces and 18 digs across the two tilts.

The Leopards are 12-5 this season, hosting Dean tonight at 6:00 p.m.
