BIDDEFORD, Maine - The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team competed at the Ron Ouelette Invitational Saturday morning, running in Binneford, Maine.
Three members of the women's team competed in the 5k, which had runners from four different schools.
Freshman Ashley Perry (Londonderry, N.H.) led the way for the Leopards, finishing in 23:32.6 and placing 14th. Coming in 19th place with a time of 24:32.1 was junior Colleen Sullivan (East Bridgewater, Mass.). The final runner for Wentworth was freshman Erin MacLean, (Newton, Mass.) who crossed the finish line in 27:32.4 and finished 25th on the day.
Next up for the Leopards is the Pop Crowell Invitational in Wenham, Mass. on Sept. 18.
