Women's Cross Country Wraps up Season at NCAA Regionals

HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology women's cross country team completed its 2023 season on Saturday at the NCAA Division III East Regional Championship Meet, which was run at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds.

Wentworth posted a 31st place finish out of 34 teams, amassing 872 points. MIT (27), Bates (81), and WPI (100) were the top three team finishers.

As she has done all season, junior Erin MacLean (Newton, Mass.) was Wentworth's top finisher, completing the 6K course in a time of 26:51.12, placing 141st (138 points).

Freshman Summer Daniels (New Bedford, Mass.) posted a 167th-place finish (161 points) with a time of 28:31.88. Senior Eleni Christopoulos (Knoxville, Tenn.) picked up 184 points with her 193rd-place finish (30:26.04). Sophomore Annie King (Wakefield, Mass.) was 199th (190 points) after crossing the line in a time of 30:55.57. Senior Dionne Ang (Victoria, Australia) rounded out the Leopards' scoring runners with a finish of 211th (199 points), finishing with a time of 33:48.79.

Junior Megan Leger (Westminster, Mass.) finished 212th, crossing the line in a time of 33:48.90.
