Student-Athletes Recognized on CCC Fall Academic All-Conference Team

BOSTON, Mass. – Four hundred seventeen Commonwealth Coast Conference student-athletes were named to the league's fall academic all-conference team on Thursday afternoon. The fall list includes participants from each of the CCC's member institutions who participated in men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.

In order to be recognized as a member of the Academic All-Conference Team an athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore academic status.

Included among the honorees are the seven winners of the CCC Scholar-Athlete awards in their respective sports. Additionally, there were 11 major award winners who earned spots on the fall academic all-conference team as well as 53 Academic All-CCC members who were also All-CCC First Teamers. Additionally, 22 Second Team and 14 Third Team performers were honored. Six of the Leopards' 24 honorees were also named all-conference in their respective sports:  Josh Gangemi and Tyler Cosma (cross country); Noah Martins (men's soccer); and Leah Rogoz, Claire Quick, and Samantha Lassiter (women's volleyball).

Wentworth's 24 Academic All-Commonwealth Coast Conference selections span the sports of men's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
