Staff Spotlight: Dean of Students/Vice President for Student Affairs Annamaria Wenner

Where did you go to college? 

• University of Pittsburgh (undergraduate); Northeastern University (graduate)

What was a memorable college experience for you?

• I was an RA and an Orientation Leader…both likely led to me being a dean of students! That, and I was on the events board and had to pick up Sinbad from the airport and drive him back to campus.

Where did you work before Wentworth?

• I worked at Hillcrest Academy for Childhood Development, as the Director of Toddler Development.

What do you enjoy most about working at Wentworth?

• That is easy…students!

Where is your favorite place in Boston?

• I love Beacon Street. The history, architecture, cobblestone, lilac glass, brown stones – it is quintessential Boston!

What is your favorite movie?

• Shawshank Redemption

What is your favorite snack?

• Soft pretzels with mustard. Oh yeah!!  Hook a dean up!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

• I would have to say Barcelona.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

• Red. Like there is any other choice.

What is your favorite show to binge?

• Real Housewives of <insert city here>

If you could choose to have any superpower, what would it be?

• Eat anything I wanted without gaining weight. Seriously.

What was your first concert?

• Shanana at the Allentown Fairgrounds
