Student-Athletes Honored by the CCC and GNAC with Academic All-Conference Honors
A total of 56 student-athletes earned 57 academic all-conference accolades during the winter and spring seasons
BOSTON, Mass. – Fifty-seven academic all-conference accolades were handed out to 56 student-athletes as both the Commonwealth Coast Conference and Great Northeast Athletic Conference released their Academic All-Conference Teams. In the CCC, the sports of baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, golf, ice hockey, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis, and men's outdoor track were represented, while the men's volleyball team was represented on the GNAC team. Senior Maya Spence (Georgetown, Mass.) earned academic all-conference honors in both women's basketball and women's lacrosse.
In order to be recognized as a member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore academic status. In order to be recognized as a member of the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have reached second year academic status.
