Black History Month Student-Athlete Spotlight: Winnie Kenou

In honor of Black History Month, Wentworth is celebrating some of our notable black student-athletes who have made an impact in their respective sports and in the Wentworth community. Today we highlight sophomore Winnie Kenou of the women's basketball team.

Why Wentworth?

  • I chose Wentworth because it is a great technical school and offered hands-on experience for my major to better prepare me for when I graduate and enter the workforce.

Do you sing in the shower or in the car? Or both?

  • Definitely my car

Is there a tradition, event, or food you enjoy with family and/or friends to celebrate your heritage?

  • No. Not really

Any game day superstitions?

  • If I don't double my shoelaces, I feel like it would jinx the game

If you could have dinner with anyone in history, who would it be?

  • Malcom X

Could you share something about yourself you would like people to know?
