Student-Athletes Honored by the CCC and GNAC with Academic All-Conference Honors

BOSTON, Mass. – Sixty academic all-conference accolades were bestowed on Leopard student-athletes as both the Commonwealth Coast Conference and Great Northeast Athletic Conference recently released their Academic All-Conference Teams. In the CCC, the sports of baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, golf, ice hockey, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis, and men's outdoor track were represented, while the men's volleyball team was represented on the GNAC team.

Within the CCC, a conference-record 899 student-athletes were honored this spring, while the GNAC recognized a conference-record 1,260 student-athletes during the 2020-2021 academic year.

In order to be recognized as a member of the CCC Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore academic status. In order to be recognized as a member of the GNAC Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and have reached second year academic status.

With 23 CCC Academic All-Conference honorees during the fall season, a total of 83 student-athletes have been recognized this academic year.
