BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore Nikolas Sombrowski (Fernie, B.C.) of men's ice hockey and freshman Aissata Conde (Brockton, Mass.) of women's basketball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of December 4-10.
Sombrowski was a playmaker in the Leopards' 5-4 win over Johnson & Wales, dishing out three assists in the triumph. He also went 9-for-13 at the faceoff dot and totaled three shots on goal.
Conde had a career day in Wentworth's narrow 41-40 loss to MCLA, dropping a career-high 16 points on 7-for-12 shooting. She also recorded seven boards, two assists, and a block.
