Student-Athletes Recognized on CCC Fall Academic All-Conference Team
Forty-four student-athletes representing six Leopard fall sports honored for their work in the classroom
BOSTON, Mass. – Announced by Commissioner Patrick Colbert on Wednesday, 771 student-athletes were named to the 2023-24 Commonwealth Coast Conference Fall Academic All-Conference Team.
The recognition includes men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's golf, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis and women's volleyball student-athletes. Of the 771 honorees, 596 student-athletes hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher with 30 holding a 4.0 cumulative GPA.
In January and June each academic year, the conference recognizes an academic all-conference Team. Each member institution is responsible for determining its qualified student-athletes. Criteria for recognition is: at least sophomore status athletically and academically with one academic year in residence at their current institution; hold a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale; active member of a roster for a conference-sponsored sport.
The June recognition includes men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis and men's and women's track and field student-athletes.
Graduate transfers, regardless of enrollment at their current institution, are eligible. First years, freshmen and undergraduate transfers in their first semester at their current institution are not eligible.
Wentworth's 44 Academic All-Commonwealth Coast Conference selections span the sports of men's cross country, women's cross country, golf, men's soccer, women's soccer, and women's volleyball. These 44 sport a cumulative grade point average of 3.628.
