Macek, Amoddio Named Leopards of the Week
Jeremy Macek of men's volleyball and Gabby Amoddio of women's basketball earn this week's honors
BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Jeremy Macek (Pittsford, N.Y.) of men's volleyball and junior Gabby Amoddio (Wethersfield, Conn.) of women's basketball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of January 29-February 4.
Macek dominated in the Leopards' sweep over Dean, totaling 17 kills at a .789 clip. The rookie also recorded seven digs and two service aces in the Black & Gold's conference opener.
Amoddio led Wentworth in scoring in two of their three contests this past week, dropping 18 points in a win over Lesley before scoring 17 points against UNE and another 15 versus Suffolk. The junior also recorded five steals and 19 rebounds across the week.
