Foster, Stewart Named Leopards of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Maddy Foster (Lewiston, Maine) of women's basketball and senior Tyler Stewart (East Taunton, Mass.) of men's basketball have been named Leopards of the Week for the week of January 6 -12.

Foster was efficient on both sides of the ball for the Black & Gold, dropping seven points and grabbing eight boards against Curry before earning a 17-point and 11-rebound double-double versus Gordon. The senior also swiped three steals and dished out two assists in the two contests.

Stewart made the most of his minutes this week, notching back-to-back double-doubles. The forward sank 19 points and recorded 10 rebounds in a win over Curry before draining 24 points and an additional 10 boards versus Gordon. The senior was among the Leopards' most efficient shooters, going 15-24 from the floor over the two games.
