Jillian Lotito was named an athletic trainer at Wentworth in August, 2023.
Lotito comes to the Leopards from Cheshire Academy, where she served as the Lead Athletic Trainer for two years. While at Cheshire, she was responsible for being the athletic trainer for all competition and activity, providing all health care needs, academic assistance, communication to health care providers, parents, and school nurses, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Prior to her work at Cheshire Academy, she was the Head Athletic Trainer at Windsor (Conn.) High School in 2021 and worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer at the Cheshire Medical Center’s Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic from 2019-2021. During her time at Cheshire Medical Center, she was a member of the center’s infectious disease screening team from February, 2020, until August, 2020.
Lotito is a 2019 graduate of Springfield College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. While an undergraduate, she gained experience at the collegiate level working with the Pride’s women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse teams, as well as the football team at The College of the Holy Cross, and at Elms College. She also gained experience working with the Keene Swampbats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, Enfield (Conn.) High School.
