Bio

Susan Walley joined the Leopard athletic staff in October, 2012, as the department’s Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Assistant to the Director of Athletics in January, 2015, before earning a promotion to her current position of Assistant Athletic Director for Operations in October, 2021. She was appointed the department's senior woman administrator in August, 2022.

In her role as the Assistant AD for Operations, Walley oversees many of the operational areas within the department, such as transportation, contest management, student employment, and financial operations. Additionally, she works closely with multiple campus partners, including the Office of Housing and Residential Life, and has been the department’s representative throughout the construction of the 600 Parker Street Athletic Complex, Wentworth’s new multi-sport playing field which is slated to open in the spring of 2025.

Walley served as the tournament director for the NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Boston, Mass. Regional in April, 2024, and presently serves on the Conference of New England’s Sport Management Committee.

Prior to arriving at Wentworth, Walley served for two years (2010-12) as the Coordinator of Athletic Operations at Regis College, where she was an NCAA Division III Minority and Women's Internship Grant recipient. While in this position, she oversaw game management, event scheduling, and student employment.

Walley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Regis in 2005 and also earned a pair of Master’s degrees from Regis; a Master of Arts in teaching (2007) and a Master of Science in organizational communication (2012).
