HOW IT HAPPENED:

McManus led off the bottom of the inning with a double to left and, with one out, sophomore Jake Prisco (Bridgewater, Mass.) and Favazzo each drew walks to load the bases. However, a pair of groundouts ended the threat.
  • Vassar upped it lead to 3-0 in the fourth, scoring a run on a wild pitch after a leadoff triple. With two outs, freshman Alec Peruzzi (Plymouth, Mass.) loaded the bases but got a strikeout to end the inning.
