Archer Earns CNE Rookie of the Week Honor

BEVERLY, Mass. – Following a strong week of action in Florida last time out, Cyle Archer of the Wentworth Institute of Technology baseball team earned recognition from the Conference of New England league office Monday afternoon. Archer was named the CNE Rookie of the Week for his efforts in games played from March 3 – 9.

Archer had an efficient start to his career last week, batting .308 with four hits across six appearances. The outfielder also sported a .400 on base percentage and a .308 slugging percentage.

The Leopards begin a three-game homestand with their home opener against Worcester State tomorrow.
