Men’s Basketball to Host Elite Prospect Clinics on August 26 and September 23

The Wentworth men's basketball program is excited to announce information for two upcoming Elite Prospect Clinics. These clinics are open to all boys in grades 9-12 and post-graduates.

Our clinics are a great way to improve your game and showcase yourself in front of our coaching staff while visiting Boston and our campus. This is a REAL recruiting and evaluation opportunity! Next season our roster will have four players who attended our previous two prospect clinics.

Each clinic includes college level basketball training, instruction and game play led by head coach Arlen Galloway and his coaching staff. Wentworth players will also be in attendance to coach and demonstrate.

Wentworth is ideally located for visiting Boston – a 15-minute walk to the Fenway/Kenmore area, the Back Bay, South End, and a short train ride or Uber to downtown and the North End – this is a great opportunity to enjoy a day or weekend in Boston while attending our clinic (note:  we encourage you to consider attending a Red Sox game as part of your trip. Historic Fenway Park is very close and on both clinic weekends they have games on Friday (7:10 p.m.), Saturday (4:10 p.m., after the clinic), and Sunday (1:35 p.m.)) Tickets are NOT included with the clinic fee, but you can leave your car on campus).

Each clinic will take place in Tansey Gym on Wentworth's campus from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and includes:

• Four hours of basketball drills and competitions directed by Wentworth coaches and players
• 3 v 3, 4 v 4, and 5 v 5 competitions
• Information on Wentworth's application and admissions process
• All-you-can-eat lunch in Wentworth's renovated and updated Beatty Dining Commons
• On-campus parking for entire day in secure lot; a three-minute walk from Tansey Gym
• Wentworth basketball T-shirt
• Optional: Campus tour after clinic

10:00:  Warm-up
10:15:  Shooting and Offensive Skill session
11:00:  2 v 2 and 3 v 3 Games
11:30:  5 v 5 Game #1
12:00:  All-you-can-eat Lunch in Beatty Café
12:45:  Film Session/ Q&A with coaches and current players
1:15:  Shooting competitions
1:30:  Defensive Drills
2:00:  5 v 5 Game #2
3:00:  Wrap-up/Dismissal/Optional Campus Tour
4:15:  Red Sox Game (tickets not included in camp)

NOTE:  ***Please bring a reversible jersey for 5 v 5 Games***

The cost of each clinic is $125 per participant.
