Men’s Basketball Officially Signs Graham Phillips Through Team IMPACT
Leopards sign 11-year-old Graham Phillips through Team IMPACT, participating in many team activities on and off the court
BOSTON, Mass. – Wentworth Institute of Technology men's basketball head coach Arlen Galloway announced a new team member, signing 11-year-old Graham Phillips through Team IMPACT.
Graham, who has been diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, was officially introduced at a signing day press conference on December 9 inside Tansey Gymnasium, home of the Leopards. He has already and will continue to participate in many activities with the team including games, practices, and other team events on and off the court.
Team IMPACT, a national non-profit organization, has developed a unique multiyear program that matches children facing serious illness and disability with college athletic teams across the country. Based on a clinical model, Team IMPACT guides a symbiotic relationship between teams and children focused on socialization, empowerment, and resilience.
