Four from Men's Basketball Earn CSC Academic All-District Accolade
Nathaniel Smith, Niko Rosich, Jack Connell, and Tyler Stewart each earn Academic All-District honors for the third (first three) and second (Stewart) times in their careers, respectively
BOSTON, Mass. – Four members of the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's basketball team have been recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District honorees.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by CSC, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must meet the following criteria:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, eligibility wise.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
- Student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of their team's games or have started in at least 66 percent of their team's games.
The Black & Gold's four honorees are Nathaniel Smith, Niko Rosich, Jack Connell, and Tyler Stewart. For Stewart, it's his second straight honor while Smith, Rosich, and Connell have claimed the accolade in each of their three years of being eligible.
