Wentworth Competes at NEIGA Annual Event
Leopards can't shake slow start at two-day event
BREWSTER, Mass. – The Wentworth golf team could not recover from a slow start and shot a two-day total of 733 at the 75th Annual NEIGA Championships, held at the Captains Course.
The Leopards shot a 365 in Monday's opening round and followed that up with a 368 during Tuesday's second round. Senior John Kilduff (Rockland, Mass.) shot a two-day total of 169 (89-80) to finish tied for 139th in the 194-player field. Freshman Kyle Nadeau (Chicopee, Mass.) shot a 178, which tied him for 169th, while sophomore Patrick Clancy (Westfield, Mass.) carded a 186, tying him for 184th place. Junior Jason LeGoff (Manorville, N.Y.) finished 190th with a 200, followed by sophomore Kyle Cantrell's (Brockton, Mass.) 215.
