Wentworth Finishes 10th at ECAC Championship

FARMINGTON, Conn. – Shooting a two-day total of 655, the Wentworth golf team finished 10^th among 14 teams at the 2009 ECAC Division III New England Men's Golf Championship.  Both the first day total of 326 and second day total of 329 were two of the three lowest rounds to date.

Senior Sean Reynolds (Leominster, Mass.) led Wentworth with a two-day total of 161 (82-79), which was 17-over par (144) tied him for 29^th in the 68-player field.  Freshman John Romanelli (Acushnet, Mass.) shot a 163 (78-85), followed by senior Brian Knipp (Fryeburg, Maine), who shot a 164 (tied for 39^th place).  Freshman Nick Abaray (Acushnet, Mass.) finished in 46^th place after carding a 168.  Junior Tom Carolan (Melrose, Mass.) also competed for the Leopards, finishing in a tie for 50^th with a 170.
