HYDE PARK, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a 326-334 win over Elms in a match played at George Wright Golf Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Senior Albert Duart (Lleida, Spain) was Wentworth's medalist, shooting a 79 for a second-place finish. Duart recorded a birdie and eight pars on the round.
• Senior Ben Wright (Boxborough, Mass.) parred 10 of his 18 holes on the day, shooting an 81 to tie him for third. Wright tied with senior Guillaume Bose (San Jose, Calif.). Bose had a pair of birdies and five pars.
• Sophomore Nico Alonso (Madrid, Spain) placed sixth, carding an 85, which included a birdie and six pars.
