BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team picked up its second straight dual match victory as the Leopards defeated Colleges of the Fenway rival Emmanuel, 331-351, at the William J. Devine Golf Course.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Senor Ben Wright (Boxborough, Mass.) took home medalist honors as he shot a 77. Wright parred 11 of the 18 holes.
  • Sophomore Nico Alonso (Madrid, Spain) shot an 83, which included nine pars on the day.
  • Senior Albert Duart (Lleida, Spain) collected a birdie and seven pars, en route to shooting an 85.
  • Senior Guillaume Bose (San Jose, Calif.) posted 10 pars on the round, shooting an 86.
  • Junior Dan Clapp (Rehoboth, Mass.) shot an 87. He an Duarte each recorded birdies.

  • Wentworth heads to Wenham Country Club tomorrow for the Gordon Shootout as the Leopards will face the Fighting Scots and Suffolk.
