GRAFTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its schedule, competing in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship. The two-day event was played at Highfields Golf & Country Club.

Roger Williams captured its first title since the 2002 campaign, shooting a 600 (+36) over the two days. Nichols College's Colby Mitchell earned medalist honors as he shot two-under-par (144).

Junior Nico Alonso (Madrid, Spain) led the Leopards with a 161 (82-79) to finish tied for 17th. Freshman Ethan Lackner (Brooklyn, Conn.) was 31st with a 172 (89-83). Freshman Pablo Artero (Aragón, Spain) carded a 174 (88-86) to place 35th. Senior Dan Clapp (Rehoboth, Mass.) placed 38th with a 184 (88-96).

NOTE:  While the University of Hartford is listed in the results with a team score and individual results, the Hawks' results do not count towards the conference scoring and leaders due to their being in the second year of the NCAA reclassification process. Team and student-athlete places in this recap reflect Hartford not being included.
