Kendall Paces Golf at NEIGA Championship
Garrett Kendall finishes 27th to pace the Leopards to a 17th place finish at the two-day event

BREWSTER, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team competed at the 89th Annual NEIGA Championship, competed Saturday and Sunday at the Captains Course in Brewster, Mass.
Wentworth finished with a 665 (326-339) to finish 17th among 22 teams.
The 36-hole tournament was contested over a pair of par 72 courses, with Saturday's course measuring 6,607 yards and Sunday's coming in at 6,604 yards.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the fourth time this season, Garrett Kendall was Wentworth's medalist as he shot a 155 to finish in a tie for 27th. Kendall shot a 75 on Saturday and an 80 on Sunday. The 75 matched his season and career low, while the +3 was his best score relative to par.
- Classmate Jon Dumais tied for 61st as he knocked a stroke off Saturday's 82 to shoot 81 on Sunday and finish with a 163.
- Ethan Lackner tied for 86th overall as he carded a two-day total of 172, shooting an 84 on Saturday and an 88 on Sunday.
- Pablo Artero shot a 175 (85-90), which tied him for 94th at the event.
- Ryan Vincent finished tied for 100th after shooting a 181 (89-92).
