Leopards fall to the Fighting Scots; Garrett Kendall paces Wentworth with an eight-over par

WENHAM, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology golf team concluded its 2024-2025 season by competing against Conference of New England foe Gordon College on Wednesday afternoon. The Leopards were defeated by the Fighting Scots, 272-302, at the par 65, 4,546 yard Wenham Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Gordon took the top four scores, which include a pair of student-athletes shooting a two-over 67, to account for their score of 272 and added a fifth-place finish to round out the top five.
  • Garrett Kendal was Wentworth's medalist, shooting a six-over 71, as the Leopards placed sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth to score 302.
  • Nico Alonso carded a 75, Milaad Madadi shot a 76, and Ryan Vincent shot a 78.
  • Ethan Lackner (81), Joe Dumais (82), Dan Clapp (84), and Ben Mariorenzi (111) also competed for the Black & Gold.
