Mike Williams is entering his third season as Wentworth Institute of Technology’s golf coach in 2024-2025.

The 2023-2024 campaign saw growth by the Leopards as they placed second at the Mitchell Invitational and fourth at a very competitive Eastern Connecticut Warrior Invitational. Additionally, Williams was instrumental in securing a course for Wentworth to host the 2023 Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship, which was the first year under a new championship format.

Hired right as the season started in September, 2022, Williams’ squad improved throughout the season and posted dual match wins over both Elms and Suffolk during the spring portion of the schedule. Ben Wright earned All-Commonwealth Coast Conference honors for his performance throughout the season.

Williams, who serves as the Director of Fitness and Wellness on the Wentworth campus, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University and a Master’s degree in Recreational Sports Management from the University of Indiana.
