Emerson's Zachary Stern-Hayes (Brunswick, Maine) trimmed the lead to 6-5. Junior Jared Hiller (North Andover, Mass.) gave the Black & Gold a 7-5 lead with a goal with 6:63 left, however, Fulgione scored with 2:15 left to make it a one goal game at the half.
  • Fulgione's goal started a 13-0 run that saw Emerson score seven times in the third quarter and five more times in the fourth quarter.
  • Junior Tom Gardner (West Windsor, N.J.) made 14 saves. Panetta scooped up five ground balls. Senior Connor Charron (North Andover, Mass.) was outstanding at the X, winning 19-of-28 draws and collecting nine ground balls.
