Men's Lacrosse Topples Keene State
Leopards hold Owls scoreless for 33:19 in a 13-4 win; Drew Bouley (three goals, one assist), Erik Vogt (two goals, three assists) pace the offense

KEENE, N.H. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team outscored Keene State 10-1 over the final 33:20 of the contest, including using a 10-0 run to snap a first-half tie as the Leopards (2-1) downed the Owls (0-3), 13-4, in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.
Drew Bouley had three goals and an assist for the Leopards, while Erik Vogt had a pair of goals and three assists in the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Bouley gave the Black & Gold a 1-0 lead with he scored three minutes into the contest. Keene State got a goal from Adam Scala 1:38 later to even the score before Brendan Kroll put Wentworth ahead, 2-1 with 8:40 left. However, Dylan Seymour tied the game for the Owls just over a minute later and the score remained tied at 2-all after one quarter.
- Just 16 seconds into the second quarter, Dryden Fisher put Wentworth ahead, 3-2, and the lead stayed that way until Keen State tied the game at 3-all with a goal from Rex Maccarini with 3:45 left. No sooner had the Owls tied the game, Kobi Buffa gave the Leopards a 4-3 lead with a marker coming 25 seconds later. This goal started Wentworth's run.
- The third quarter belonged to the Leopards, outscoring the hosts by a 6-0 margin. Bouley and Vogt each scored twice in the frame with Richard Roy and Jared Hiller also getting in on the action.
- Hiller gave Wentworth an 11-3 lead early in the fourth quarter with his second of the contest, with Tyler Longo and Kroll also scoring in the quarter to make it 13-3. Keene State scored just before time expired to account for the 13-4 final score.
- Connor Charron was 9-of-15 from the X, while Dylan Sullivan was a perfect 3-for-3. Charron and Kyle Leger each scooped up six ground balls while Leger caused six turnovers. In between the pipes, Tom Gardner made 15 saves. Wentworth dominated in both shots (51-31) and ground balls (41-23).
SERIES NOTES:
- Winners of the last two series meetings, Wentworth holds a 2-1 series edge.
