Rowing Fares Well at Head of the Charles Regatta

BOSTON, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology rowing team put together another strong showing at the Head of the Charles Regatta as the Leopards placed 21st out of 57 boats at the 55th annual event. Wentworth crossed the line with a time of 18:08.813, missing finishing in the top 20 by just over one second. The Leopards placed ninth out of collegiate institutions entered into the race and were tops among for NCAA Division III institutions competing.

With the 21st-place finish, the Black & Gold qualified for a guaranteed entry into next year's regatta, marking which will mark the eighth straight season the team will compete in the prestigious event.

Wentworth closes out the fall portion of its schedule next Saturday at the Halloween Regatta which will be held on the Charles River in Newton, Mass.
