WORCESTER, Mass. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology rowing capped off its 2021-2022 season with a second-place finish in the petite final of the 2022 New England Rowing Championships held Saturday on Lake Quinsigamond.
Wentworth had a time of 7:31.941 in heat number two, which placed eighth overall and advanced to the petite final where the Leopards had a time of 7:44.832 for the second-place finish.
The Leopards' lineup consisted of senior coxswain Joshua Diettrich (Medford, Mass.), sophomore Tanner Griffin (Old Lyme, Conn.), junior Tommy Velardi (Madbury, N.H.), junior Will Sandblom (Bedford, Mass.), and freshman Tim Pugliese (Dorchester, Mass.).
