- Quintero made three more saves as the half moved along, including one that resulted in a corner kick. Off the set piece, the Seahawks bit was blocked and cleared out.
- The hosts scored the only goal of the game with 14:25 left in the half when a ball was misplayed by Wentworth, resulting in an own goal.
- In the 32nd minute, freshman Owen Jacinto (Methuen, Mass.) took a shot that was saved and went out of bounds. Jacinto served the ensuing corner kick towards the box where senior Erik Treble (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) sent a shot towards the net, however, it was saved.
- Wentworth had three shot attempts in a span of nearly three minutes, however, none were able to get past senior Nathan Reid (Magnolia, Del.). The Leopards put two more shots on net in the 70th and 73rd minutes but Reid came up with saves both times.
- With time winding down, Wentworth had a throw in deep in the Salve Regina zone. The throw was kicked around and resulted in a corner kick for the Black & Gold. Despite not connecting on a scoring chance, Wentworth had one last run late but were not able to create a scoring chance.
